Wokai’s P2P Microfinance Website Up and Running

November 23, 2008 No Comments

For those interested in microfinance in China, please check out Wokai.org. Similar to P2P lending sites, Wokai allows you to select the individual entrepreneur you would like to support. Wokai’s innovation is making this linkage available between Chinese borrowers and international donors. And I say donors not borrowers for a reason. Chinese banking regulations prohibit foreign loans, and so you must donate to Wokai, which then distributes your donation as a loan.
