Seattle Microfinance Lending Team on Kiva

September 22, 2008 No Comments

After less than a month since we set up the Seattle Lending Team on Kiva.org, we have already loaned out $1,800 as a group. As of today we have 31 members, and we’d love to quicken the pace. There have got to be hundreds, if not thousands, of people in the Puget Sound area lending through Kiva–and we’d love to have them on board. Please join us!

Also, I wanted to welcome Don Schlosser as our newest author at SeaMo. He will be contributing occasionally and brings a much higher level of numeracy to the table than the rest of us do. Thanks, Don, for joining us, and we look forward to your insights.
