SeaMo and UW’s Global Business Center hosted Terry Provance, the Executive Director of Oikocredit USA, one of the world’s largest microfinance investment vehicles. Provance addressed the grassroots approach to poverty alleviation known as microfinance, and how this development strategy establishes relationships of equity, rather than dependence.
