Position Summary:
We seek a dynamic, passionate, team player to manage facilities and coordinate technology support for a 30+ person office. The successful candidate will have demonstrated customer service and project management skills, be able to work independently while maintaining close contact with the team, outside vendors, and contractors, and enjoy multi-tasking. Critical attributes include a tolerance for ambiguity, a sense of humor, persistence, and resourcefulness. The candidate will be highly organized and have excellent communication skills. Experience managing technology is a definite plus, but we are willing to train an individual who is tech savvy and not afraid to take on new challenges.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be passionate about poverty alleviation and eager to work in the social development industry. This is a high-impact and high-visibility position charged with creating a unique Unitus experience for visitors, candidates, and our team of dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Office Management:
o Facilities
- Manage lease and vendor relationships
- Order and maintain stock of office supplies
- Run occasional errands
o Reception
- Answer central phone line
- Greet and direct visitors
- General Office Support
- Assist with travel arrangements for staff members
- Maintain filing system for vendors and expense reports
- Assist in preparation for meetings, conference calls and events, as needed
o Internal Event Planning
- Plan and conduct monthly “Fun” days and holiday events
- Organize recognition events, including birthdays, service anniversaries, etc.
• Information Technology Management:
o General IT
- Coordinate IT support and projects with external provider, including monitoring and prioritizing staff requests and managing technology initiatives
- Administer and develop Unitus’s SharePoint website (with external vendor)
- Managing special IT projects as they arise
o Communications
- Manage a variety of telecommunications contracts ( (VoIP, Conference Calling, Corporate Cell plan)
o Inventory
- Procure and account for the organization’s hardware and software needs, including laptops, servers, and software licenses

Additional Qualifications:
Requirements:
• 2+ years experience in an administrative role
• Meticulous organizational and task management skills
• Project management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A demonstrated ability to work in a genuinely fast-paced office environment with limited supervision
• Ability to think creatively to improve the efficiency of systems and projects within the organization
• Passionate about poverty alleviation and social development
• Expertise with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
