Pangea is hosting “New Directions in Microfinance” on June 7 at 6 pm to explore the realm of financial services for the poor—beyond microlending. Hear from Evelyn Stark, Senior Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Cole Hoover, Director of Programs at Lumana about promising new models for improving poor families’ self-sufficiency in developing countries, explore potential microfinance pitfalls, and learn about key attributes of successful partnerships.
