Microfinance California Conference on May 28th, 2009

January 23, 2009 1 Comment

Opportunityfund.org, a community development bank in the Bay Area, is sponsoring a conference on the campus of Stanford University to kickstart microfinance programs in California. Although registration has not yet opened, you can sign up to receive email announcements. Kiva.org is among the sponsors, and this conference may be a tie in to the recent comment by its founder that Kiva intends to begin providing loan capital for microfinance in the U.S.
