Meet Jolkona at a Happy Hour on May 20th

Come meet Jolkona, a local non-profit that allows you to donate to projects around the world and get feedback from the field on the impact of your specific donation, during a happy hour on May 20th at 6pm at SAMTaste.  They have projects that span Microfinance, Empowerment, Education, Public Health, Cultural Identity and Environment. Jolkona’s unique giving model allows anyone to make an impact, starting at just $5.

At this happy hour event, come meet Jolkona staff and hear about their history,what they have achieved, and their exciting future direction. You will also hear from some of their partners, including Grameen Foundation, Washington CASH, and Project Concern.

All ticket sales will go to benefit Jolkona’s operation fund. And thanks to their sponsor, Social Creature Media, your admission includes light appetizers with cocktails available at the cash bar. Please buy your tickets in advance – they’re $10 online and $15 at the door.
