Global Washington Kicks Off BlueprintForAction.org

November 9, 2009 No Comments

blueprintWe received an email from Global Washington last week touting their new site and the conference on December 7th with the same title. I took some time this weekend to explore the site. It’s a forum site, where those interested in innovations in global development have a space to share and get feedback. I would encourage you to check out the site and consider attending the conference. If nothing else, you are bound to meet interesting people from the Seattle area involved in global development.

Using cutting-edge social networking technology to create a ‘digital democracy’ among the community of global development organizations in the state, we are giving everyone an equal voice, in order to agree on priorities, to influence policy, and to form new alliances and partnerships that will better catalyze our resources and enhance our collective impact on the world.

Help shape the agenda and set the priorities for our sector. The December 7th conference will build upon the dialogue at BlueprintForAction.Org toward our strategy for collective action. Let’s harness the enormous energy of Washington State’s global development advocates and use the power of our state’s revolutionary technology and entrepreneurial expertise to change our world  together. We hope you will be joining us at the annual conference, where we will connect and collaborate around these ideas and innovations for our sector, and we invite you to join the conversation and to help us build a movement at BlueprintForAction.Org.
