Description:

Wokai Seattle Chapter is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated event planner to join our team of passionate volunteers, as the Vice President of Events. Through collaboration with the Chapter President and leadership team, the VP of Events will lead a team of volunteers focused on designing and executing quarterly, local events to effectively reach out to and engage new contributors for Wokai. The VP of Events will dedicate an average of 6 hours weekly to Wokai efforts, most of which will be virtual with the exception of a monthly, face-to-face leadership team meeting. Event management experience for non-profit organizations is preferred. This position requests a minimum 12-month commitment.
