Microfinance and Microbrews: November 11th featuring the Bill & Melinds Gates Foundation’s Financial Services for the Poor

October 19, 2008 1 Comment

SeaMo is pleased to announce November’s Microfinance and Microbrews at Spitfire (2219 Fourth Avenue, Seattle) on Tuesday, November 11th beginning at 5:30pm. This month we are featuring Evelyn Stark, Senior Program Officer in the Global Development Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Evelyn recently joined the foundation’s Financial Services for the Poor office, and will be speaking about technology and microfinance.

Microfinance and Microbrews is a once-every-other-month gathering to learn more about microfinance and to meet others who are interested too. There is a $5 suggested donation at the door to help cover the cost of appetizers. Contact us at ryan@seattlemicrofinance.org for more information.
