The Snohomish County chapter of RESULTS is hosting a forum addressing microcredit and its impact on global poverty and development on Tuesday, April 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 215 W. Mukilteo Blvd., in Everett.

The forum will feature GP CEO and President Rick Beckett, U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen, and Carol Schillios, founder of Fabric of Life. The panel will discuss the basics of microcredit and how this tool for poverty reduction is assisting the poor around the globe. The title of the forum is: Microcredit: When We Invest in Global Development We Empower Global Communities.
