Calgary Microcredit Conference Open Call for Speakers

April 2, 2010 No Comments

The Calgary Microcredit Conference committee, together with the Rotary District 5360 Microcredit Task Force (with support from the Rotarian Action Group for Microcredit) and the UEnd Foundation is now accepting submissions for presentations at our upcoming conference, taking place on Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at the Calgary Danish Canadian Club. It will bring together local, national and international key players that eradicate poverty through microcredit, the most effective poverty reduction tool ever.

At the Calgary Microcredit Conference, we will engage practitioners, investors, corporations, policy-makers, social entrepreneurs, students, individuals and families with leading research, microcredit best practices, strategies and success stories. Participants will benefit through a broadening of their networks and a deepening of their understanding about microcredit. This will occur through keynote speakers and interactive breakout sessions. Our one-day event will mobilize Calgarians to fulfill their commitment to creating a sustainable, poverty free world for all.

Please submit a one-page abstract of your presentation/paper and your presentation credentials by April 15th, 2010. We encourage submissions in all areas of microcredit.

Display tables will be available for rent.
